Dr. Robert “Bob” Reed , Principal Verdatek Solutions LLC, has worked in industry, federal and state government, consulting, and academia. He served as the Founding Director of the Midwest Energy Efficiency Research Consortium at the University of Missouri (MU), Co-Director of the MU Center for Sustainable Energy, Director of the MU Stormwater Management and Erosion Control Education Center, and researcher in the MU Water Resources Research Center. He managed a consulting engineering company and a regional office of another engineering firm.
Dr. Reed has more than 50 years experience as a civil and environmental engineer, manager, and energy efficiency consultant. His work in construction includes planning, financing, design, permitting, construction project management, start-up, operations, operations management, and energy efficiency.
Dr. Reed also has extensive experience in municipal, water, wastewater, and stormwater utilities, including statutory, regulatory, and financing work while with a state regulatory agency, and utility planning, financing, construction, operations, energy efficiency, and management.
